Ayush Gupta — short bio.

Ayush Gupta is a professional photographer, videographer, and social media content strategist based in West Lafayette, Indiana. He is the founder of byag.studio, a photography and visual content studio serving brands and creators across the United States.

Ayush began his career in 2014 in Kolkata, India, with personal documentary work that quickly evolved into commissioned projects — architectural photography for government agencies HIDCO and NKDA, and documentary work for IL&FS infrastructure projects across India. By 2019 he was producing visual content at scale across large infrastructure developments.

In 2021, Ayush pivoted to social media and brand content, recognising that platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube had become the primary medium — not just a distribution channel. Since then, he has worked with 35+ brands and creators, including nationally recognised names like Coca-Cola, Levi's, Tinder, Bumble, and Dot & Key. He directed the content strategy and visual production for YouTube channel PrettySheis, growing the channel from 30,000 to over 1 million subscribers and 90 million combined organic views.

Ayush is currently based at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where byag.studio serves local businesses, campus organisations, Greek life, and national brands. The studio regularly takes projects in Chicago IL, Indianapolis IN, and nationally for larger campaigns.
